Recently I have been watching geeky films about the beginning of Apple (Mac) and the Bill Gates story (a very cool documentary!) as deep down I am a real geek who loves technology as much as personal development. Even the Divas have nick-named me Geek Diva! Lol.

What amazed me when watching these movies is how quickly technology has developed and to to think that just 10 years ago, we couldn’t type on google to look for things. How the hell did we cope?! Lol.

I remember going on my Grandad’s PC in his little shed in the garden and playing around on it, completely fascinated. Before the internet even arrived.

But since we have had the internet at our fingertips, it has completely changed the way we live. Although we had the dotcom boom and crash, businesses online still continue to thrive now more than ever and more recently we have had the social media revolution (as I like to call it). The good news is that social media is going noooooowhere. Hence why I now a run a business with my Divas based in this arena because the potential is only going to grow and grow.

The reason we love social media is because it is a chance for social change and gives everyone in the world to really get involved and make their own mark on the mighty ole interweb.

Thanks to Facebook, which literally shifted society to a new dimension, it is now possible to actually socialize and make a full time living from it! (Believe me it’s real!) Of course there are hundreds of social media sites but Facebook is by far the biggest leader, with over 600 million users logging in daily!

So you might be wondering HOW you make a full time income from socializing, because unfortunately, it is not going to happen by visiting Farmville Every day!

We’ll go with Facebook today as everyone knows it and uses it, so its a great start.

Here are some good starting points:

• Write a list of your strongest interests
• Get them down to one or two and start a facebook fanpage for each one
• Add a catchy picture and start adding small pieces of content every day
• invite people in your friends list
• Invite people in groups similar to your passion/interests
• Go to Fiverr and look in social media section, find someone to send out a blast to their Facebook friends for $5, this help will build your group and get you noticed more
• Keep adding content DAILY, just anything to do with what you have chosen
• Rinse and repeat and keep doing the above weekly (content daily)
• Talk to people in on your page individually. Message and interact with them
• Ask them questions
• Get their feedback
